Technical Architecture

Design split between sovereign settlement nodes and processing infrastructure nodes.

Country Nodes

  • Validate transactions and apply policy constraints.
  • Collect assigned liquidity and fees.
  • Emit epoch batch hashes and sign global roots.
  • Coordinate with sovereign diversity and finality requirements.

Processing Nodes

  • Relay mempool traffic and proof material.
  • Hold erasure-coded fragments.
  • Return attestations for availability sampling.
  • Support reconstruction under partial failure.

Global Settlement Path

Each node builds a local state batch; hashes are committed into a distributed root and approved with threshold signatures. This root is the reference for proofs and light-client validation.

Consensus and Incentives

Finality

Requires weighted signatures and sovereign diversity at the epoch level. This is not PoW and not a single chain authority.

Participation

Non-attesting nodes face penalties and potential exclusion from fee and yield participation during probation windows.

Slashing

Conflicts or faults reduce effective participation and trigger exclusion rules.
